Spiky DisappointmentI told her she was attractive, with her short spiky hair and long stockinged legs.
She blew smoke in my face and laughed; her rough glass chip laugh grazed my ears.

“Go away little girl,” she giggled, taking a drag, “come back when you're a woman.” I ingested her words with honeyed ears, digested them with a sinking heart and reacted to them with a stony face.

That night my second self stared back at me, reflected in a square portal.

I usually go by the name of Greeny, for a different number of reasons. Reasons which most of you probably will never hear. I'm into every genre of music except rap and hip-hop, although I only listen to metal on the rare occasion. I'm not what you would call 'typical' or 'usual', but I guess you can say that about a lot of people here. I believe that it is our difference which enables us to create, be it writing, painting or any other artistic pursuit.
